Sweet and delicious, bubble tea is a beverage that everyone simply loves all around the world. Seriously sounds like a nonalcoholic frozen drink that U should be offering children but is actually a cold beverage warmed with small bubbles of tapioca/jelly. Having a bubble tea is so much fun, with such exciting flavours that you can always find something to love! If you have ever wondered how bubble tea is made. Without further ado (exciting!) let us explore everything that makes up this yummy drink!
First of all, an ingredient that is indispensable must be tea when we prepare for bubble tea. We have a plenty of options to choose the type of Tea we uses such as black tea, green tea or eve oolong tea. You see, every variety of tea has its own distinct taste on the beverage. To begin, the tea is steeped, which means it was soaked in hot water to extract flavor. Then we cold-brew the tea as bubble teas are served frosty and cool. Then, we put something sweet like sugar or honey for more good taste. On average bubble tea outlets mix up a special syrup that is what makes the boba and te extra sweet at home. Then the tea is shaken (with ice) again to get it nice and cold for when you wanna sit outside on your deck in a tank top, soaking up those sweet vitamin D rays.
Boba: Also known as bouncy and chewy tapioca balls that are in every cup of Bubble tea, the other important ingredient. Cassava root is mixed with small pearls round balls to make Tapioca. The pearls, cooked from a hardened sphere to soft and chewy with sweet sugar flavor are boiled in water. This process forms the fun and special texture bubble on top which makes your drinking experience better. As you are drinking the bubble tea, you can then suck on your boba in order to get that good chewy sensation along with an extra element of fun!
One of the most fun parts about bubble tea back then was all the different flavors you could get. Almost all the bubble tea shops would offer an extensive menu of different flavor which are bound to excite you! There is something for everyone with tastes that are fruity such as: strawberry; mango and passionfruit in beverages. For those who like their sandwiches a la mode, there are also some milk-based flavors in vanilla, chocolate and matcha. A mix of sweet and lovely tasting flavors mixed in with the tea gets shaken up on some ice making it an amazing, cool beverage perfect to get all those delicious active ingredients integrated whilst taking pleasure in every drink!
In addition to the main components there are a ton of exciting and wacky things you can toss in your bubble tea. Fruit jelly- Appropriate fruit flavored cubes that give your drink a burst of fruity delight, and certainly one amongst the favorite selections. A more playful option is popping boba. Imagine, biting into these tiny balls that are filled with juice and they burst open in your mouth... how fun is this!!! A lot of people would go as far to add ice cream in their bubble tea, to thicken them and savor the sweetness even more. It makes a special treat like a dessert out of your drink!
Last of all, there are a ton of toppings that you can add to your bubble tea so it looks pretty and tastes even better.
