Kiwi Jam

Have you ever tried kiwi jam? If not, you are in for a real treat. There is also kiwi jam spread that could be a great topping to your breakfast toast or snack. Picture smearing something sweet, fruity and delicious onto your morning bagel! Kiwi jam is, of course prepared from the exotic and very sweet kiwis fruit that were once only found in New Zealand. It looks like a satsuma, is vibrant green in colour and contains lots of wee black seeds — kids love the slightly tart-sour flavour (as do most grown-ups). Today we are going to be making kiwi jam and there will also be a few interesting ways to use this delicious stuff at mealtime all in the name of having some extra item packets for handy snacks.

Finally, turn the heat on medium-high and once it starts to boil. Bring to a light boil, reduce heat down low and simmer for 25-30 minutes. Stir it once in a while so that too do not stick to the bottom or get burn.

How to Make Delicious Homemade Kiwi Jam

If you want to get creative, feel free throw some other fruits of flavorings into your kiwi jam such as a splash of vanilla or pinch of cinnamon. Exercise your creative muscles and make a batch of custom granola!

Because making kiwi jam is not just a process, but also in terms of preserving the fruit fresh and sweet. For it to be the most awesome kiwi jam ever, you also need sun-ripened and tasty kiwis full of aroma. Choose kiwis that yield to gently pressure from your finger. The inside should be nice and green, if it is starting to turn color (more yellow) then they have started gone bad/add some mould, also the smell will change being more sweet.
